Nothing says summer luxury quite like lobster. At Côte, summer is all about the finer things in life. It’s the season for long, sunny lunches and treating ourselves to the most sumptuous seasonal ingredients.  

Along with cold glasses of French rosé and juicy Provence melon, our summer lobster special is a personal favourite of ours this month. We serve it whole or half, along with a rich lobster and dill butter and a homemade lemon hollandaise, finished with a ubiquitous French classic; pommes frites.

Charentais Melon

Handpicked by the Biscarrat family, grown and ripened in the sun soaked Provençal fields of Cavaillon since the 1920’s, these intensely fragrant golden globes are at these absolute seasonal peak between June – September. Ours is served with cured Bayonne Ham, radishes, rocket salads and croûtes.

Breton Tomatoes

Sourced and grown amongst the rural landscape of Brittany, our colourful, plump tomatoes are made up of a kaleidoscope of heritage tomatoes, creamy goat’s curd, pickled shallots, tapenade and a fragrant drizzle of basil oil. Hand harvested by Camille, the second family generation to look after the farm.
